I have been in private practice in South Dakota since graduation from law school in 1980.  I started my own law firm in 1986 and am currently sole proprietor of Volesky Office in Huron, South Dakota.  I have practiced in State and Tribal Courts in South Dakota and have been admitted to the Federal District Court for South Dakota and have appeared before the Eighth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals and the South Dakota Supreme Court.  I have been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Claims and the Supreme Court of the United States.  My private practice is a general practice of law consisting of trials and appeal matters in all areas of state, tribal and federal law.  I am a member of the American Bar Association, South Dakota Bar Association, Beadle County Bar Association and is a former President of the Beadle County Bar Association.  I was elected Bar Commissioner of the South Dakota Bar Association in 2009 and have served on the East River Legal Services Board of Directors.
